Join us at the virtual table with Chef-Owner Deborah Hansen from Taberna del Haro, Boston. Learn how to make Arroz Negro (rice with squid ink) at home! We're pairing this dish with three wines that heighten this Spanish delicacy. 100% of the ticket sales will be donated to Lawyers for Civil Rights.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 11TH at 1:00PM EST

Armchair travel from home to Spain's famed Basque Country! Join us virtually to learn from Michelin-starred Chef Aitor Arregui (Jatetxea Elkano, Getaria, Spain) how to make a classic Basque dish (marmitako de bonito) at home! We're pairing the dish with three Txakoli from Gaintza (Txakolina, Roses, and Aitako) to showcase the magic of pairing local Basque wines and cuisine. 100% of ticket sales will be donated to Doctors Without Borders, whose mission is to provide lifesaving care to areas around the world affected by crisis.

Gambas Al Ajillo and Pan Con Tomate with Chef Dani Chavez Bello

Special guest Chef Dani Chavez Bello (NYC) will be teaching us how to make two summery dishes (gambas al ajillo and classic pan con tomate) that will transport you to a tapas bar! We´ll pair refreshing Naveran Brut, Berroia Txakoli de Bizkaia, and Piñol Portal Blanco. 100% of ticket sales go to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, which provides free accommodation for cancer patients who have to travel for treatment.

Albariño and Paella with Chef Marcos Campos

SUNDAY, JUNE 13th at 1:00pm EST

Learn from Valencia native and paella expert, Michelin-starred Chef Marcos Campos (Bonhomme Hospitality Group, Chicago) how to make paella at home! We're pairing the paella with Albariño (Leirana, Nortico and Pazo de Galegos OR Columna) to showcase the diversity and versatility of this special grape. 100% of ticket sales will be donated to Wheeling Forward, whose mission is to help people with disabilities experience life to the fullest.

Special guest Chef Katie Button of Cúrate, she's a Food & Wine Best New Chef and 4-time James Beard Award nominee. Join us as Chef Katie shows us how to make her brilliant Tortilla de Patatas at 7pm EST! Patrick Mata from Olé & Obrigado and Felix Meana from Cúrate will discuss how Columna Albariño, Zestos Rosado, and La Antigua Crianza each pair in their own way with the featured dish. 100% of the profits from tickets sales go to  Southern Restaurants for Racial Justice, which is working in partnership with the Lee Initiative to support Black owned-restaurants in the South.

Spanish Wine & Cheese 101 with Despaña

THURSDAY, MARCH 18th at 7:00pm EST

Let's break the regular cheese and wine pairing mold with three legendary regional Spanish cheeses paired with three wines from the "new Spain" to complement. Angelica Intriago from Despaña Foods will join to guide us through how to pair cheese and wine and offering custom package of cheese and accompaniments you can order in advance. 100% of the ticket sales will be donated to the Restaurant Workers' Community Foundation.

Featured wines reflect lesser-known corners of Spain you need to try, and have been hand selected to complement each cheese: Candea Blanco, Gaintza Roses, and Gordo Tinto.

Conserva Culture & Coastal Wines

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 18th at 7:00pm EST

Let’s experience an assortment of favorites from new purveyor Conserva, paired with with some of our breezy coastal wines! Gretchen Thomas from the Conserva and Barcelona Wine Bar creative team will guide your very own master conserva pairing class, and has curated a custom food package you can order in advance. 100% of the ticket sales will be donated to Wine Unify. Featured wines are maritime-influenced and take us to seaside villages in Spain and Portugal: Caves Sao Jose Rose Bruto, Asnella Vinho Verde, and Vara y Pulgar Tintilla.

Whether you’re ordering in from your favorite local spot, buying a take and bake kit, or making our from-scratch recipe, we’ve got some tips to share with you on the best affordable wines to choose! Join us and our co-host Vanessa Price, Founder and Creative Director of Vinum Collective and author of new release Big Macs & Burgundy and Scott Wiener, Founder of Scott's Pizza Tours  to liven up your pizza and wine pairing skills. 100% of ticket sales will be donated to Slice Out Hunger. Let's start the new year right  with three grower Cavas paired with a custom caviar package with Olé & Obrigado and wine educator Shakera Jones (BlackGirlsDineToo, SommTV)! In our virtual brunch session, we'll pair three grower Cavas with fun, easy-to-make caviar preparations. Alberto Orte Still & Fortified

Ole & Obrigado invites you to a live tasting on July 12th at 2pm EST with winemaker Alberto Orte in conversation with sommelier Jason Jacobeit of Batard Restaurant (NYC). Alberto Orte produces still wines made with Tintilla and other rare indigenous varieties. His newest project, Bodegas Poniente, seeks to recreate small-scale Sherry wines made in a pre-industrial style. Along with the Bodegas Poniente Fino, we will taste two examples from his El Aljibe estate: Vara y Pulgar Tintilla and a single-vineyard example of Tintilla from Pago Anina, Atlantida Tinto.
